Make With Me team has researched and perfected the process of Making personalized mugs.

Our Candle Collection now includes Glass Jars and new fragrances – Bouquet of Roses, Sandalwood, Jasmine in addition to our all time favorites – Lilac, Vanilla nectarine, Magnolia, Fresh lemon, and Honeysuckle rasberry.

Our young adults at ‘Make With Me’ have been busy getting trained in making candles, packaging them, and having fun with friends!

July 2021

During the month of July, our Young adults setup their Candle Stall at various location – Edison chamber of commerce( Amboy avenue), Merril Park Picnic, Johnson Park picnic. This allowed these young adults to practice Social, communication, money , and team building skills in addition to being outdoors and enjoying the nice weather. They also made new fragrances(Apple Harvest, Rose, Citrus Jasmine, Tropical fragrances, Gardenia).

May 2021

We have started to create Custom labels for our Candles to make any event even more special, for ex. Wedding favors , Graduation, Birthday etc. We have also started to include more special needs young adults in our Candle making Project. 25 kids/young adults have expressed interest in being trained and we are accommodating in small batches. Kids/Young adults enjoy making candles, packaging them and socializing with friends. April 2021

In April, #autismawarenessmonth, MakeWithMe Team perfected the recipe of making Candles (using soy wax, and phthalate free fragrances), labelling, and packaging to build a big mountain of candles. We have the vision of hundreds of young adults being able to achieve the same heights, what our four prototype students have achieved. Let’s join hands to help these young adults live a productive and meaningful life.

MakeWithMe Team spend Saturday/Sunday afternoons learning how to make Candles, enjoying the delicacies prepared by each other, having fun hanging out, and playing games. We look forward to expanding this to more young adults once we have perfected the process and the risk of COVID has lessened.
